Yes, field trips and walks to nearby parks and neighborhood areas are part of our program. Parents give consent for their child to participate in these activities.
Children may engage in activities involving computers, videos, television, and taped recordings. All content is age-appropriate, and parental consent is required for participation.
The daycare closes at 6:00 PM, and all children must be picked up by 5:45 PM. Part-time preschool children must be picked up by 12:00 PM, as the preschool closes at 11:45 AM.
A late fee of $1 per minute applies, with a minimum charge of 15 minutes for late pickups beyond the designated pickup times.
We will notify parents immediately if a child is ill or requires medical attention. If we cannot reach a parent and immediate care is needed, we will take the child to the nearest emergency services.
If a child is sent home due to severe biting incidents three times a week for two consecutive weeks, childcare services may be terminated. Immediate termination may occur if biting causes serious injury such as scarring or loss of skin/tissue.
We use the Nipissing Developmental Screening Tool to track your child’s growth and progress. This information is included in your child's portfolio and administrative records.
